She burns, a flame in the dark; a flicker of light. Chipped polish fingernails scratch at reality, clutching at the unravelling threads whilst the whispering inside her skull continues to seduce and beckon. The seed of war blooms between her ribcage, spreading its roots and blossoming. Her fight begins far before everyone else, plaguing a mind not yet developed. They all curse her name and sing her praise in the same breath.
